UK Stockists for Sustainable, Upcycled & Handmade Clothing

A big part of my business is stocking shops around the country.

I used to have my own independent shop in Manchester, running it as a collective with other local artists. It was amazing, and I loved it, but since moving to Brighton, I’ve moved more online and to other stockists for sustainable fashion. It’s good to have more time to focus on my handmade clothing and not have to worry about the logistics and finance of running a shop.

Although I would love to do it again at some point. I’ve written an overview of what kind of things I sell and where.

Remarket, Manchester.

It opened in 2024, and it’s an amazing vintage shop full of vintage clothing and a whole big section for independent brands, so it’s a great place to find sustainable, one-off items. I mostly stock my upcycled pieces here, lots of trousers, T-shirts, and jumpers with my screen print and airbrush designs.

Honey, Leeds.

This is a really cute vintage shop in the Corn Exchange, mostly Y2K style, and handpicked vintage clothing. They sell a wide variety of accessories, bags, charms, nails, jewellery, and clothes from independent brands. Beautifully curated little shop. I stock my cut & sew baby tees and vests here, perfect for Y2K fashion lovers.

Abigail’s Drapery, Lewes.

Abigail runs a gorgeous independent alterations shop, haberdashery, and boutique on Lewes High Street, in a building from the 1330s, steeped in history. She was giving me sewing lessons, and she taught me a lot in a short time. I started selling my handmade jackets there.

Emmaus, Outfit London Road, Brighton (until March 2026).

This beautifully curated charity shop does amazing work to divert as much as possible from landfill. They run a rag collaboration scheme where they invite local designers to rummage through the rags, anything that can’t or hasn’t been sold on the shop floor. It’s a great way to keep fabrics local, and have them repurposed into sustainable clothing, whilst helping designers with low costs. The alternative is that everything is sent to textile recycling or shipped to other countries.

They have also started a rent-a-rail scheme for sustainable designers, so I am stocking my clothes there for 3 months until the next designer. It’s a great collaboration because whenever anything sells, some of the money goes to a wonderful charity helping end homelessness, and the rest goes to the designer who made it. I stock a range of things here, mostly my upcycled line of tees, jeans, jumpers, and hoodies.

All Over The Shop, Liverpool.

I’ve just started stocking here, a shop which sells work from over 30 independent and sustainable brands in the Met Quarter. Lots of funky, reworked, sustainable brands. I stock a range of things here, including shirts, trousers, and tees. I like to send most of my trousers out to shops as it’s much easier when people can try them on in-store.
