ABOUT TROUSER PROJECT

I’m Megan, a Brighton-based painter/artist and slow fashion designer. I create unique, sustainable pieces using upcycled clothes, deadstock fabrics, and donated textiles.

Since 2018, after transforming charity-shop trousers with bleach and a paintbrush, my practice has evolved through screen printing, lino printing, airbrushing, and hand painting. I specialise in upcycled fashion and one-of-a-kind clothing, proudly using sustainably sourced fabrics, once sold, that piece is gone. I am a solo maker, so stock is limited, with a strong focus on ethical, circular fashion.

I offer a custom service; I can craft any piece you’d like. Visit the customs page to learn more. Please contact me with any queries about sustainable fashion, upcycled clothing, or bespoke pieces.

Understand more about life as a slow fashion designer

Running a creative, sustainable business as a woman in my 20s comes with a lot of thoughts and feelings. I like to be transparent and share my experiences through drawing and writing. It's important for me to connect with the community around me, so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you enjoy my blog, want to chat, or are interested in sustainable living, creativity, and authentic storytelling.
